A Tuskie of Note
Brad Morris finally gets a black spot!
What's more to say really.
Brad went fishing, and had a phat time by the sounds of things.
Sight cast on the flats in 300mm of water on a natural coloured crab fly, hook size 2/0 (zero sparkle). 10WT rod full floating line 15lb flurocarbon tippet.
It was an incredibly powerful fish with two runs of 100 m each time as it headed for the reef edge, before I successfully wrestled it back to the boat after a 10 minute fight.
The Key for the capture was to sit back and observe the fishes mood for 15 minutes before taking a shot at the fish and an accurate cast 25/30 mtrs.
